LIP GLOSS

2 T. solid shortening (Crisco),
1 T. fruit-flavored powdered drink mix ( with sugar added )

Mix the solid shortening together with the drink mix until smooth, microwave until mixture is melted, pour into a small air - tight container ( a 35mm plastic film container works well ), and set in the refrigerator for 30 to 40 minutes or until firm.

CHOCOLATE LIP GLOSS

3 T. cocoa butter
4 or 5 chocolate chips
1 capsule vitamin E

Melt all ingredients in a double boiler, then blend with a spoon until smooth. Put into a container and refrigerate until solid.

COLORED LIP GLOSS

This is an excellent way to use up lipstick that is too dark.

1 tsp. grated beeswax
1/2 tsp. lipstick
1/2 tsp. petroleum jelly

Melt the ingredients in a small can placed in boiling water. Stir it well and pour it into a small jar.

VANILLA LIP GLOSS

1 T. grated beeswax
1 T. coconut oil
1/8 tsp. vitamin E oil
1/8 tsp. vanilla extract

Place the beeswax, coconut oil and vitamin E oil in an ovenproof container. Heat gently until the wax and oils are melted. Stir in the vanilla extract and mix well. Pour the mixture into a clean container and allow to cool completely.
